Abilities are defined as moves that do not do damage themselves but change the way that you attack. Time Flus Sonic has 2 abilities, the abilitiy to slow or freeze time, and to make a clone of himself. Both of which can only be done on the ground and drain power per tick.

Command:
Requirement: power greater than 500, no present clone, and on the ground.

Time Flux Sonic creates an expanding void, if the void reaches an enemy time will freeze (if used when at full power) or slow it down (when not at full power). Pressing again will cancel Time Flux. He can be hit out of expanding the void.


Pluses

+Greatly hinders opponent's attacks.
+Damage dampener is off.
+Can setup attacks in front and behind opponent.
+Can summon more than 1 Special Guest.



Negatives

-Slow start.
-No access to throws.
-No access to hyper moves.
-No access to power charge.
-If hit within starting ticks power is still drained while you are unable to attack back.

Command: +
Requirement: Power greater than 500, Time Flux is inactive, and on the ground.

Time Flux Sonic bares back and opens a vortex at the core of his body and brings forth a clone of himself that is binded to a fixed distance in front of him. Time pauses for this moment.

Pluses

+Clone can act as a projectile shield.
+Hit velocity and guard velocity is negated due to attacks coming from both sides.
+Clone can fool enemy A.I. into thinking it got a successful hit.
+Hits from clone increase regular hitstun.
+Damage is increased by multiple of 2.
+Can gain a small percentage of power with each connecting attack.
+Gains 2 Team Attacks with clone.



Negatives

-Drains power fast.
-No access to hyper moves.
-No access to power charge.
-Can't send clone away.

Command: None
Requirement: Having an extra life.

Getting a perfect grants you an extra life. When near death Time Flux Sonic reverts to the way he got hit in the Sonic games, flying up backwards and have rings flying from him. Also setting his life to 1 and this takes 1 life when it activates. Gathering rings restores health.

Pluses

+Wont die from a combo.
+Invincible for 2 1/2 seconds.
+Velocity from jump back puts you at a safe distance.



Negatives

-Need a perfect to activate =p.
-If hit after invincibility is over and no gained health you die.
-Need to gather rings to heal.

Gain power stock as you hold down the button.
